Educational Qualification
- PET 2025 is compulsory: The candidate must have appeared in the UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 and must hold a scorecard issued by the Commission. Candidates whose PET 2025 absolute or normalised score is zero or negative will not be shortlisted for the Main Examination.
- Base qualification: Intermediate (Class 12th / 10+2) pass from the UP Board or any recognised board/institution is required for the advertised posts.
- CCC certificate: For the posts of Gram Panchayat Adhikari, Gram Vikas Adhikari (Social Welfare) and Social Welfare Supervisor, a CCC certificate from NIELIT (or a government-recognised equivalent, where allowed in the advertisement) is also required.
- Experience-based posts: Farm Clerk requires three years of farm work experience along with working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script. Salesman (Bikri Karta) requires three years of sales work experience in a firm or government department, along with working Hindi.
- All prescribed qualifications must be held by the candidate on or before 1 December 2026.
Age Limit
- Age will be calculated as on 1 July 2026.
- For most posts: Minimum age 18 years, Maximum age 40 years.
- For the post of Farm Clerk (Farm Lipik): Minimum age 21 years, Maximum age 30 years.
- Age relaxation: Candidates belonging to the reserved categories of Uttar Pradesh (SC, ST, OBC and other notified categories) will get relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. State government employees also get relaxation as per the applicable government orders.

There is no application fee for this recruitment; every candidate only has to pay an online processing fee of ₹25. The fee can be paid through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI or SBI e-Challan. Candidates shortlisted for the Main Examination will have to pay a separate main examination fee before downloading the admit card, as and when notified by the Commission.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting through PET 2025: Candidates will be shortlisted for the Main Examination on the basis of their PET 2025 normalised scores — up to 15 times the number of vacancies in each category, along with all candidates tied at the cut-off score.
- Main Written Examination: The Main Examination will have 100 objective-type questions of 100 marks in total, to be attempted in 2 hours. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
- Document Verification: Candidates who qualify the Main Examination will be called for document verification, where they will also give their post preferences.
The final selection will be based on the performance in the Main Written Examination, subject to document verification.
